Darla Domestic Short Hair Adult - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Oakland, New Jersey

Darla was rescued from a high kill shelter. Her demeanor and outward physical appearance tells a tale of how she had a rough life starting out.Darla was outside during the cold of winter and developed frost bite on both her ears. So much so that the tip of one ear had fallen off and her other ear is a crinkly!Darla also has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This means she is more susceptible to upper respiratory infections, eye issues, etc. However, FIV+ cats are generally very healthy. This virus CAN NOT be transmitted to humans or other species of animals. FIV can be transmitted from cat to cat through deep bite wounds or scratches where blood is drawn. Now that she is safe and warm, we see that she likes to be pet but not really held. She is a quiet girl who would do best in a home with no other animals and in a quiet home. Primary Color: Tortoiseshell Weight: 6.625 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks Animal has been Spayed
